So life's been great, in spite of me being forced to turn into a handy man more than ever. Really how could we complain. Though
grateful for my mother's
generosity of letting us stay at her place for three months while we waited to finally close on the house, it was tough for
Kiko and I not having a place of our own, especially squeezing into a full size bed.
Now that we're at our house, it's great! We now have a KING size bed, and it's much softer. On top of that Mom isn't hovering my parenting.
We were thrilled yesterday to be able to help my sister out and take my niece Baily, even if only for a short bit. As excited as Matthew and Benjamin was to have her over, some how I get the feeling that Baily was not so enthused. I wanted to share her happiest picture of many very tearful ones. She was just disappointed that "Princess Baily" didn't get her way of staying with Grandma "French Fry" (that's my mom). So at that time, royalty's out the window.

Lately our little pig... I mean our little son, out of no where, has been wanting to chug 6 oz. instead of 4 oz. That would be fine except he hasn't been keeping down the extra 2. So
Kiko decided to give him 4 oz. by bottle, and that it's time to start feeding him cereal. He enjoyed it when we put the bib on, but once the food came, he was less than thrilled. Sorry prince Ben, nice throne, but royalty's out the window. It's almost bed time.

I was helping Matthew wind down with a snowboarding game (trust me, it works). Suddenly the power had gone out and it was pitch black. I stepped out side to see who all was affected. It was every house to our right on our side of the street only. Our two neighbors to our left still had power, and the other side of the street, where my mom lives still had power. Matthew was scared as he sat near a candle with a flashlight. So
Kiko decided we should go to my mother's for the night. There went the soft King size bed. Royalty's out the window.
My mom was kind enough to accept us into her home, again. This is my third time in this house. Her luxurious life of electricity. She's the only one living the life of royalty now.

Well maybe we spoke too soon. After being at her house for about 10 minutes. We had yet another blackout. Matthew was scared again. But this time we didn't have any candles. My sister called soon after to say that she had also lost power. We decided to just call it a night, give up, and go to bed. All royalty's out the window.

Cute story. I think we lost power that night too.
