Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July this past weekend. We had a busy holiday weekend and luckily got to celebrate it with lots of family and friends.
On Friday we watched the Red, White, and Boom fireworks via T.V., Matthew was so excited waiting all evening for them. He fell asleep after the first 2 fireworks went off. Benjamin however danced the night away.

At the parade, it was Benjamin's turn to sleep, and didn't wake up until we were back at the van. Matthew got bored after the marching band and fire trucks (the 1st and 3rd in the line) went through and asked if we could leave.
Then it was off to Aunt Glenna's for a cook out. The boys had a blast playing baseball, and eating lots of delicious food. The video is of Matthew playing baseball with the family, both times up to bat he got a hit. Not bad since it was really his first time playing baseball.
In the evening we went out to dinner with Aunt Kristen, Uncle Ben, Aunt Sarah, and Uncle Alan. The boys loved getting to see them again. After dinner the whole group met Grandpa Jeff for the fireworks, sparklers, glow sticks, and lots of goodies. The boys love spending time with their cousins and ran around playing all evening with Brady and Bailey. Despite the constant drizzle we had a wonderful evening and the fireworks were a hit with all of the kids.
