This year out church decided to put a float in the 4th of July Parade (which was actually on the 3rd) for Vacation bible School. We had a large trailer that we transformed into a boat and then did the same with wagons to pull the younger kids. It was a hot day, but I think every truly enjoyed being in the parade. Sam was right a head of us with his boy scout troop so we were able to get a cousin shot before we started. After the parade we had a large group head over to Red Robin for lunch complete with ice cream for all of the kids :)
