Oh, so much catching up to do. Mike and I have been on a short summer break and sadly we have not updated the blog in 2 weeks despite being home. Oh well. Since school let out we were able to celebrate Uncle Jason's birthday twice. The boys love time with their uncle (Benjamin is even saying "jay" now) and loved water play with Lena when we went out to Papa's to celebrate the second time. Time in the pool itself was shirt lived since Matthew didn't have room to dive, and lena started crying because one of the boys touched her.
We also got to celebrate Aunt Tori's 8o's themed birthday party complete with a rendition on "Ghost Busters" performed by Tori's brothers and husband. Matthew just had to try on one of the outfits after the song was over.
Lastly, we got our roof re-done. Thanks Uncle Dave and Chad, it looks great. Next we will be redoing the siding, and then our house will no longer clash.
